Overworked

About
Developed a concept and collaboration between Xhibition and milliner Eric Patton. The project was titled Overworked due to the construction of caps made from deconstructed vintage Carhartt overalls. Each of the 40 hats were different depending on the parts of the garment it was constructed from and how its previous owner(s) wore and cared for them.

The project used the vintage items to relate the hard working blue collar work ethic of the midwest while tying a Cleveland store with an Ohio native. All the garments were sourced locally from various locations. This ensures every finished cap tells its own story with each wear and tear mark. The sizing strap and under bill are finished with a genuine black leather.
